Position: Marketing Assistant

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a creative and organised Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team in planning, executing and monitoring marketing activities. The successful candidate will help drive brand consistency, engage with our audience and provide day-to-day marketing and event support.
Qualifications:
- Matric Certificate
- Diploma in Marketing/Communications/Public Relations Management
- Meta business Suite or Canva Programme
- Driver’s License will be an added advantage
Experience Required:
At least 2–4 years’ experience dealing with the following:
- Maintain marketing databases, mailing lists and records of promotional materials
- Conduct stock-taking of all branded materials (brochures, banners, uniforms, etc.) and submit reports to the Marketing Manager
- Post approved content on social media platforms
- Track social media engagement and respond to clients’ comments or inquiries in line with company standards
- Provide logistical and on-site support during company events, memorials, campaigns and community engagements
- Prepare and compile weekly reports that track performance and key metrics (e.g. leads, frequently asked questions, enquiries, updates, etc.)
Technical and Behavioural competencies required:
- Creative skills, including writing, design and video editing
- Good team working & Communication skills
- Numerical skills, including compiling and analysing data
- MS office competency
